tonight, i got a question for you

i find myself wondering

why i love so much artsy stuff but at the same time am totally intimidated by art when i actually look at art.  i love art house movies but never go to art theaters that show films like that cause i over think the experience.   same goes for music.  i think of myself as a pretty simple dude and me liking such “complex” or for lack of a better term non-simplistic art forms kinda puts me in a weird headspace.  i almost feel bad for enjoying the thing that i am experiencing because i feel like i shouldn’t even be listening to this music, or going to see art shows even if i like them.  i also assume everyone would like the movie Into the Void or everyone would get Coltrane’s Ascension album.  then i get irritated when people hate them. i find the simplicity in any art and i think that if even i can understand and apprieciate a particular movie, band or painting then anyone can
